Since last night, a variety of disturbances have occured on Doane College campus. First of all, a number of fights broke out at the annual toga party in Butler Gym. The police were called onto the campus, and Doane went on a campus lock-down.. According to an article on the Doane Line, the fights were relatively small, and the police didn't remain on campus for very long.
Along with this, a number of cars have been broken into on campus, mainly from the freshman Sheldon lot. The windows of the cars were smashed in, and the stereo systems were stripped, according to an e-mail sent out by the Safety Office. If you have any information, you're encouraged to call the Doane Safety Office at (402) 826-8669. A reward is being offered.
